Recurring guest Lise ‘Kat’ Evans joins us as we dive into this well-regarded time capsule of 2000s culture and metahumor, featuring a pre-mummy Lindsey Lohan as a sheltered homeschooled girl entering the jungle of high school cold turkey at 16. There, she must contend with ‘mean girl’ Regina George (Rachel McAdams), as well as navigate the intricate social hierarchies of high school. 1 part extra dry rum
1 part Limoncello
2 parts South African white wine
1 part pomegranate juice
splash, lemon, lime and honey
cherry bitters
strawberries
2 parts soda water
Muddle strawberries in shaker; add remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously in shaker with ice, and pour straight into wine glass. Add soda water and garnish with strawberries and lemon slice.

Had a lot of fun listening to this episode. Mean Girls is a movie that really helped launched the careers of Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and to some point Lindsey Lohan. Well it should have launched the career of Miss Lohan if the mouse didn’t put his slimy gloves all over her and violate her. It was a scary insight into the minds of the teenage mind girl.
